Entry Level Customer Service ( 4 x positions)
We have a number of openings in our Customer Service team. This is an excellent opportunity for smart, problem solving, service oriented graduates who want to join a fast growing e-commerce business and learn about online retail. Previous experience not necessary - we will train you! However, you do need to have a great work ethic, excellent problem-solving abilities and a positive, enthusiastic outlook. And most importantly you have to share our desire to delight customers!
The core role will be in Customer Service with opportunities to cross train in other functions across the business for those who excel.
You will be responsible for:
- Receiving inbound calls from our customers
- Researching/resolving the customers' inquiries
- Escalating calls as necessary
- Sharing ideas to improve business practices
- Performing other duties as assigned
Your skills will include;
- Degree qualified
- Experience surfing web and using email;
- Confident using MS Office.
- Effective verbal communication;
- Ability to retain knowledge of products;
- Positive, people oriented and energetic;
- Be motivated to meet customer needs;
Other valued skills:
- Be analytical, creative, and innovative in solving problems;
- Understanding of and experience in using social media.

Category analyst / entry level buying role (2 x positions)
As a Category analyst / entry level buyer you will establish relationships with new suppliers in order to expand our product selection on
www.buyster.com.au. You will be expected to negotiate your own contracts, develop relationships with your suppliers and influence the strategy of the sector. For those that excel, there is ample opportunity for advancement as we grow the business - to progress to a category management role and to run a part of the business.
Responsibilities include:
- To source, negotiate and develop long term relationships with suppliers
- To set up promotions & other ways of ensuring consumers are tempted by our offering
- To analyse the success of your suppliers and implement sales and profit growth plans
- To monitor the competitive market to ensure we are attracting customers with both our prices and offers
Skills & Experience:
- Good negotiation skills
- Interest in e-commerce
- Internet savvy and computer literate
- Able to manage relationships with suppliers at a senior level
- People oriented and energetic
- Be motivated to meet customer needs;
