They ceased production of plated lamp bases three years ago owing to the environmental hazards of that process. This has been replaced by painted finishes that successfully emulate an antique bronze finish while reducing harsh environmental impacts. The factory also produces lamps with lead free solder and is constantly striving to be better stewards of our fragile environment, engaging new cleaner methods of production and packaging.
